He's coming home

Our son, a "Rat" at VMI

Our boy is coming home from college Tuesday night, so preparations are afoot here to make everything special.
His college experience is more grueling and challenging than his peers' as VMI is a military institute. He is doing well and we are very proud.

Most of all, it will be so wonderful to have our family back together again. The balance is somehow off with the essential fourth person missing.

Anyone else with college and prep school children en route?

Looking ahead,
ABL

Enjoy your time with him, Anne. It's so precious these days. I'm so happy to hear he is doing well. VMI is a wonderful institution and it takes a certain fortitude to make it there. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

Makes Thanksgiving so much better, doesn't it? Our Army Ranger is home for three weeks. It's wonderful. : )

My brother is a VMI grad, and 30+ years later, he's doing fabulously well, and my 11-year old nephew is hoping to attend. Those four wonderful years bring back so many vivid, beautiful memories, and I'm so honored to be part of the VMI family. I go back to visit Lexington as often as I can. My best to you, your son and family.

Beat of luck to your son. My daughter's best friend is a first year 'rat' at VMI also :)
